USES:
N-benzyl isopropylamine can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of compounds and as a precursor in the production of certain drugs.
Due to its similarity to methamphetamine in appearance and physical properties, it has been taken into consideration by DEA in recent years.
N-benzyl isopropylamine and magnesium form amine adducts in toluene at room temperature.
Bis (cyclopentadienyl) magnesium was prepared and characterized with N- benzyl isopropylamine as ligand. It is also used in the synthesis of N- benzyl isopropylamine.
